Teeth
Almost everyone has teeth. For various reasons some people may need
to get fake teeth. Most people clean their teeth -- whether real or
fake -- twice a day, everyday: when they get up in the morning, and
before going to sleep at night. Though I brush my teeth twice a day,
I only floss once a day. For a society that has become so unaccustomed
to ritual such as ours, the ritual act of brushing our teeth may actual
bring us closer to the gods, demonstrating visual results: purity.

Gold
Gold
is a soft, yellow, corrosion-resistant element, the most malleable and
ductile metal. There used to be the same amount of gold stored by the
government at Fort Knox, as there is in US currency, currently exchanging
hands across the globe. Now there is no fixed price for gold anymore.
Wearing lots of gold while brushing teeth that have fake gold on them
is likely to increase the visible results associated with being closer
to the gods. This is the same reason why the Catholics like to use a lot
of gold in their worship services.

Everyday
There
are lots of things we do everyday: eat, drink, sleep, have sex, ride the
subway, go to work, exercise, chant. Some of these things we do many times
in one day. Most of us think there is Nothing Special about doing everyday
things. Andy Warhol didn't. I think we all need to think about everyday
things more and put our whole hearts into doing them in a way which is
deeply fulfilling to us.
